Founded in 2004
Brizon Inc was founded in 2004 as a Southern California specialty chemical distributor. Today Brizon not only distributes specialty chemicals worldwide but also develops and manufactures custom coatings and cleaners. We have extensive expertise in aqueous & UV curable resins, coatings and specialty cleaners for microelectronics.
Brizon develops UV curable resins to meet a wide variety of needs, including primers, functional coat, hard coats and adhesives. We can tailor-make a UV curable resin to exactly meet your specific functional requirements.
Our Briteclean products are specialty cleaners used in the wafer manufacturing process for computer hard drives sold all around the world. These high tech cleaners have been tuned to maximize the yields and efficiencies of the CMP process. Brizon distributes a range of specialty chemicals worldwide. FOUNDER
Geoffrey Yuxin Hu
Geoffrey Yuxin Hu founded Brizon in his garage in 2004, aim to leverage his Asian connections with the high chemical market demands in both US and England at the time. Subsequently, he created specialty cleaners for the microelectronics CMP market and UV curable coatings for metal and plastics. His prior experience includes seven years at Signet Armorlite, developing patented cutting-edge technologies for lenses and coatings. He is an expert in polyurethanes, coatings, hard-coats for lenses, photopolymers, the use of nanoparticles in coatings, and UV curable applications.
Geoffrey worked seven years in developing photopolymers for printing plates. He has patents for UV curable resins and primers for flexographic printing plates. His expertise also includes inks and dyes.
Geoffrey got a BS in chemistry, a MS in polymer science from Jilin University, and a PhD in Polymer Science from the University of Tokyo. He speaks Mandarin, Japanese and English. When not creating new products he likes to hike, bike and taste the occasional microbrew around San Diego County.
Dr. Daniel Kwo-Hung Shen
Daniel has a MS in Material Engineering from Tatung University (Taiwan) and a PhD in Engineering Science from Clarkson University. He is active in Chemical Mechanical Planarization field and is one of the founders of CMPUG Taiwan. He is an expert in IC process, especially in wet chemical formation, CMP slurry, and electrochemistry. He has more than 20 years of experience working at global chemical company groups, served as R&D manager, project leader, and research coordinator.

Dr. Kai Li
Kai Li has BS and MS degrees from Jilin University and a PhD in polymer chemistry from McMaster University. He is an expert is polymer science, adhesion and coatings. For twenty years he worked at Avery Dennison Corporation and served as the Director of Product Development.

Ron Baier
Ron has a Bachelor’s Degree from California State San Marcos and a Business English Teaching certificate from Changchun Institute, Jilin, China.
